ECC EHP5 to EHP7 Post-processing Question

I recently completed the Execution phase of an ECC upgrade from EHP5 to EHP7 in my SandBox system.

I noticed that the EHP5 system still resides in tables that have been renamed by adding ~~OLD to their table name (e.g. DYNPSOURCE~~OLD, REPOLOAD~~OLD, REPOSRC~~OLD, D010TAB~~OLD).  I have read through the SUM guide and searched SAPNet and the web for instructions on cleaning these tables up. Since I haven't found an answer I decided to post my question here.

This is my first experience performing any EHP upgrade with SQL Server. When I performed similar upgrades on Oracle, the SAP objects resided in their own tablespaces with a version number as part of the name. After the upgrade the tablespaces would be empty and could be dropped to reclaim the disk space.

My question:

Can I just drop these tables? Or is there some post-processing task within SUM that will do that for me? I stopped the upgrade process after Execution because it was a Friday night and decided to wait till today to resume Post-processing. But I wanted to ask this question before resuming the postprocessing roadmap. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
