Hello,

- What is the type of the DB SCM 7.0 EHP1 running on?

- What is the version of the SAP kernel with patch & MAXDB DBSL installed on the appl. server?

- What is the SAP Basis SP?

- Post the output of the command:

sdbregview -l

to see the liveCache/MAXDB software packages installed on the server.

- On the appl. server the MAXDB client software and the MADB DBSL need to be installed.

Review the SAP note 649814. And if you have installed the client/liveCache/HAXDB software as of version 7.8, the clint software installed with CL_<SID> ( SID= appl. sid), as explained in the note.

- Review the SAP note:

1448333 - Check on DBMRFC connection to SAP MaxDB/liveCache

-

"

[root@cgiu1104a bin]# ./dbmcli -tpp dummy -tpi cgiu1104a -tpc IDL -d IDL db_state

Error! Connection failed to node (local) for database IDL:

tp error: sh: tp: command not found

[root@cgiu1104a bin]#"

You run it as root. And the env is set correctly to <appl-sid>adm user.

Run it as <appl-sid>adm user.

which tp

tp -version

- As you reported the connection issues with the LCA connection test to liveCache on MAXDB on SCM system,

the correct component to get SAP support will be -  BC-DB-LVC-CCM.

Best regards, Natalia Khlopina
